Kim Seo is a Japanese-American chef and writer who recently moved to Michigan. A native of Los Angeles, she is passionate about food and has been a frequent guest on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. She has written several cookbooks, which include The Cakes of Cookery (Kim Seo – The Three Levels of Self-Awareness) and The Whole Kitchen (Kim Seo – The Three Levels of Self-Awareness).
It’s hard to find an Asian-American chef writing a cookbook. It’s even harder to find someone who writes a cookbook specifically about being Asian-American. Kim Seo does it, and she’s doing it well. She wrote The Cakes of Cookery Kim Seo – The Three Levels of Self-Awareness, which is a book on the “three levels of self-awareness”.
There are three levels of self-awareness in this book. Kim wrote this book so she could help other Asian-American chefs learn how to recognize and overcome each of these levels. The first level is “being aware of what you want,” and the second is “not being aware of what you want.” Kim writes, “I was in the third category for a long time, and I felt like I was trapped in a box.
Kim’s third category is the one that she’s most focused on, and that’s being aware of what’s important. That’s how she learned to make delicious, simple meals that people love. The three levels of self-awareness are: awareness of what you want; being aware of what’s important in life; and being aware of your inner self.
It’s the third category that I’m most focused on at this time, and it’s the one that made me want to stop eating and go to sleep thinking about it all the time. I’m most of the time unaware of my inner self, but I’ve been doing the same thing once as a few years ago.

You can probably assume that being aware of your inner self is the most difficult part of self-awareness. I’ll get into self-awareness in another post later this week.

A lot of people ask me whether I think about my inner self in terms of what I’m going to write about in my blog. I’m not sure I do, but I think about it a lot. I’ve been talking a lot recently about the importance of listening to your inner voice. I think in the context of blogging, listening to your inner voice is especially important.
When you listen to your inner voice, you can actually learn to hear yourself better. When you talk to yourself, you can actually talk to yourself better. When you listen to your inner self, you can actually feel more in control. When you talk to yourself, you can actually feel less in control. When you listen to your inner self, you can actually feel less in control and that sounds like a good thing.
